MAGMA

underneath the earths crust is magma, through weak spots at the earths surface extreme pressures forces the earths crust to break and then they form  volcanoes. The magma that erupts at the surface is called magma. Volcanoes spit out gas, rocks, lava and can also spit out hot ash,
HOW THE VOLCANO WORKS
1-magma goes through small cracks and creases but does not explode
2-slighter thicker gas traps pressure builds up until ashes and rocks through the volcano opening
3-when the dome bursts hot lava and rocks also ashes go out of the volcano opening and goes down the volcano slopes
